Born in New Castle, Mr. Shirk, 74, lived here 30 years Susie Mathews Funeral Friday Services for Susie Pearl Mathews, who was stricken with a heart ailment while at church Sunday, will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Good Samaritan Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Floral Park. Mrs. Mathews, 62, who lived at 3466 N. Kenwood, was born in Somerset, but lived here 43 years. She was a member of the church and the Sisters of Help.
Survivors include the hus- band, Edward two daughters, Eva Johnson and Roberta Jones; a son, Edward M. Mathews four sisters and" one brother, all of Indiana p. died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital. He was a spot welder for Mouron Co.
